Kate Winslet was phenomenal in this movie. As far as the film itself…it was forgettable. It should NOT by any stretch been nominated for best pic over Doubt, Gran Torino, or The Dark Knight.

This film will linger in your dreams and be with you when you wake. It is about love and how we sometimes fail those we love most. Kate Winslet is astonishing throughout. Do go see it.

This was such a beautiful film! One of my favorites from 2008 along with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
