I loved this movie it scared the crap out of me. if you are gonna watch this movie you have to watch it at night or else you wont get scared. i watched it at midnight, damn me and my friend was scared shitless!
LOL this is a RIPOFF the REAL movie is named [REC*] and is a spanish production !!!! this is only a WEAKER version of the REAL movie [REC*] i’ve seen [REC*] and this RIPOFF and [REC*] is more scarry and realistic then this. i advise u not to go see this movie but rent [REC*]
Just saw the movie a while ago. Most people in the cinemas were screaming at the random stuff. Anyhoo, I thought it was an alright movie. I actually like this kind of camera-work [uh not sure if it's the right word]. It’s unique I think.

omg thats wat i said after watching it i saw it yesterday and once it finished i was like “damnnn wish i saw this with a guy” istead i was next to one of my mates that got hell scared as did i and we were called up next it eachother with her grabbing my kneww and me grabbing her wrist..also get her to wear a skirt coz both mine and hers were like non existent coz of the way we were postioned..it looked liek we just had underwear on bahah funny
Ok basically she is a tv reporter and she is reporting on the fire brigade when they get a call…they go into an apartment building…they get locked in their for quarantine reasons because there is a rabies type of virus in the building which causes aggression. thats it in short
I just laugh at how the people that made this remake though no one knew about REC (the original version of the movie) and now everyone is bashing them for making such a bad remake..
The original is called ‘[REC]‘ (made in 2007).
Quarantine is a VERY BAD Hollywood remake where every scene is the same and was made purely to make money.
- The acting in [REC] is by far better
- The filming in [REC] is better
- [REC] is more scarier than ‘Quarantine’ and seems more REAL.
