I just don’t feel that this movie did a good job portraying the African-American experiance in WWII. Tuskegee is better in my opinion. Truth is, I think Spike is capable of much better than this, maybe that’s why I’m so disappointed…alright..peace

I came to criticize the film cause I’m a film fan and I was disappointed that I wanted to vent about it. That’s my right, or are you not familiar with freedom of speech. I didn’t know I was gonna make you cry and I feel bad about it. But that doesn’t change the fact that this movie sucked.

I loved the prayer in the movie that was in english, german, and italian when they all spoke in their own language but spoke of the same prayer i cant find the words to it tho iv been looking!
it doesn’t have to be a history lesson to be a good film…and it’s neither. This film was ambitious…but it did not work. It was contrived, weak, and didn’t really express anything. There is no consistancy in it, and it was ultimately corny, cheesy, and left no emotional impact…lol…so what made it so great to you?
