It was an Ok movie, sure, it’s shit compared to the games but I still don’t understand why everyone dislike it, yes, the plot was completely changed from the games to the movie but in my opinion it has been still a good movie. I hope they’ll a sequel soon.
when i first saw this before it started i was thinking he was gonna fight these supernatural beasts turns out it was just a drug i was pissed off but still a good movie.
Never played the video game, seen the movie, thought it was pretty good, and mark wahlberg has gotta be one of my favorite actors, he fit Sgt Dignam perfectly in The Departed.
Im a huge max payne fan, its my 2nd favorite video game franchise(splinter Cell being number 1), and i still loved this movie. Sure it could’ve been a little better but marky marks look and style of the character is way better than how the new Max Payne video game looks. I just hope they have you running around in a wife beater the whole game. Overall i give the movie 3 for 5 stars. Mark did a good job and so did everyone else, and if theres a sequel in the future have Zach Snyder(300) do it

This trailer makes the movies look so good. Im not going to say its a good movie but it was better than the Alone in the Dark and resident Evil movies.
just like hitman they didn’t care about the original script or story, as you might notice the scripts of this films are cheap as my underwear, stupid scenes everywhere 1:57 yeah so incredible, wahlberg escaping from a 15 men swat unit, the mob behind the drugs was a bunch of junkies, random sh1t,
Ludacris is Bravura, god, im so happy i played the game before watching this crap
no intentions of making a good movie just making fast money, i give this 4/10 only because of the music,it was ok
this movie looks liek it has a bit of fantasy in it with all these massive eagle creatures and stuff.. from what i remeber form the games max payne wasnt fantasy? although i played them a long long time ago so i could have forgotten

Exactly. It was a pretty good movie with just a couple of flaws: namely, the OST, the Valkyrie sequences, and some slight pacing things.
I’m planning on doing a re-edit of the film. You may want to check it out.

This movie could’ve been alot better if it was alot closer to the game.
Not to mention they forgot alot of the characters from the game…ie Alfred Wooden, Gognitti, ect.
