Despite the fact this was a joke, there’s something about this trailer that really gets to me.
Just watching Link walk up to where the tunic lays, hearing the nostalgic theme play as he puts the armour on…shortly followed by the words flying onto the screen from Hyrulian-English, while the old man says, “I welcome…the Heeeero of Time…”
@Sunmasta and some of us know that its fake…. its obvious it says (April FOOLS day) as the title, when it was uploaded August 05, 2008 also on IGN website.
i can’t believe people are still falling for this it even says april fools’ day in the title haha.
ign released this on their website as an april fools’ joke, to get peoples’ hopes up because it’s such a beloved game. i don’t think they’ll end up making a movie. even though cgi is now where it needs to be, the real target demographic for the game has kind of grown up, and a lot of moviegoers are too young to remember it.
well it looks like though in the game link started as a kid, were an actual movie to be made, they would probably make him start as an adult because then the plot would translate a little better. zelda would be kind of a hard game to make a movie out of.

I’d second Zero’s idea…. It would be great if they produce a mini TV series for it. I’d totaly watch it and buy its BD!!!
