I watched the movie because Im korean but I live in america and the movie is so romantic in the beggining and it was so funny in the beggining then all of a sudden it became so sad when the tsunami hit in the middle and end of the story.
I just watched this movie today and it is so sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way I was born in korea but Im better at saying english than korean Im live in america. Okay now back to the movie, it is so romantic in the beggining but so sad in the middle and end! My heart was beating so fast in the tsunami scene.
I’m american in Korea. I watched last week in Yong San CGV and it was pretty awesome. It worth. But little bit of disapointment…. : So short shot of Tsunami scene. Anyway, my opinion is fine movie, actually great..
sense of gag and style of acting has got nothing to do with those crap hongkong films of 80s and what do you expect for a CG disaster movies to be like… .. fresh? you mean go to some real tsunami shit and experience stuff?
Moreover you sound like you havent watched this movie yet,.. it is just so obvious…. haha freakin absurd.
I guess you are a fan of Hong Kong films then…
well many people liked it and I bet you didnt even watch… because if you had; you probably wont be talking crap here… lol have fun with your criticism.

In 90s many disaster(o is mistake sorry) films were released by USA. For example “Twister” “Volcano” “Deep impact”
VFX was great at that day. But I think people already get tired of that style.
And the sense of gag and style of acting is the same as 80’s HongKong films(Jiang Shi movies, Jacky Chang, etc)
Look at the scene of beauty and fat woman or the floater hitting a head. they are really unrefined.
There are nothing new. They need more originality and freshness.
interestingly or maybe unfortunately; traditional 90’s dizastor<<? (it’s disaster) movie which looks like this, does not exist.
Cheap 80’s comedy? I dont get what you mean by cheap 80s comedy… 80s comedy is not cheap; how can a comedy be cheap… I just dont get you… are you like jealous of people who watch this movie or something? hahahhaa
