@verax17 The editing of the real movie is like that, too… Meyer’s editing style is… interesting.

I would have thought they might have put something in The Crazies trailer like
“Brought to you by George Romero the man who shocked the world with
    NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD!
now gives us a movie that will shake you to the foundation of your very being!
If NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD!
    scared you,
    THE CRAZIES!
    will horrify YOU!!!”
I even caught maybe one or two of the cast members from NOTLD in that trailer for The Crazies..

According to IMDB, both Myers and Ebert share the “story” credit and Ebert is credited with the screenplay. Hope that clears things up. Cheers.

Pure Cheesy Fun. A surprising number of these movies have been remade.

Nights of Terror is also known as Burial Ground. I had the poster at one time. It also contains the notorious tit chomping scene. Gotta see it!

Didn’t Roger Ebert write Beyond The Valley of The Dolls?

The trailer says Russ Meyer did.

well, LHOTL did showed a lot of graphic rape scenes and has the rape and revenge theme of a movie, normally those kinds of movie would just go to Grindhouses. Just like my favorite “I Spit At your Grave”
