the critics are usually wrong,so i knew it would be good and saw it the day it came out. but I am a Tim Mcgraw fan,and so I had to see him, even though his part was small,i give it a 10 out of 10 it is funny!!!!very good movie!! it just helps you realize there is nothing you can’t handle at Christmas.family is important no matter how bad things get.

That’s a good point about what you said about Jennifer and Reese and their acting ability. It’s true. I have seen Reese come across with maybe more diversity that Jen – even when Jen plays an angry character – she still seems sweet underneath it all…fragile. Reese seems like she’d get out a shotgun! LOL

That comment I made was just my initial reaction. I am more used to them as a couple now that I have seen the trailer a few times.

You are so right about what you see out in public!!! LOL

I like Jen, but Reese can come across as witty, abrasive and sweet, Jen does sweet well but lacks the diversity of Reese. That said I like both. Vince and Reese do appear to be the odd couple, but in real life, sidewalks shows up many a “odd couple” making you wonder how the hell did they meet or how they stay together!

I love that Ralphie from a Christmas Story is the airline clerk.. Seems like he’s in every Vince Vaughan movie anymore.

im sure a part of it will “embody” the spirit of christmas, I think thats the whole idea. I don’t think its about avoiding christmas, i think the whole moral in the end will be how much people take christmas for granted.
