Actually that was the British. And they enslaved Aboriginals, use their names and do some damn research before you talk bullshit about a country you know nothing about.

Australia? Ha! Look at America, the KKK doesn’t exist in Australia. We didn’t enslave a whole fucking race like what the yanks did to the Africans.

As for the stolen generation, the average person like the Drover had little control over government policy so they did what they could to respect Aboriginies in thier own way. What would a sick little, sushi eating, underpant sniffing midget know of affairs in a western country? pull your head in!

On 19 February 1942 Darwin itself was bombed. Japanese fighters and bombers attacked the port and shipping in the harbour twice during the day, killing 252 Allied service personnel and civilians. On 3 March Broome, in WA, was strafed. In succeeding months air attacks were made on Wyndham, Port Hedland and Derby in Western Australia, Darwin and Katherine in the Northern Territory, Townsville and Mossman in Queensland, and Horn Island in the Torres Strait.

The person to see this movie should know
the fact that the Australians slaughtered
    the aborigines in large quantities.

It was aggression, and it was racial discrimination.

The Japanese armed forces have not participated in it.

This movie gives misunderstanding for the Japanese.

you are right. I love Australia. I have never been there, but I will come to see it one day……I dont like close-minded people like SylvieKloot………..and I wont say anything bad about her country. Even if I could find some really good reasons. A friend of mine was spit in the face there and abused as faithless…………and though I would like to see the pyramides…because I am not close minded…….The movie was great. The political message was absolutely ok. And Hugh was sooooooo hot!

by the way: Who are Australias? The real australians are the Aborigines……so you are insulting the people from many nations who went to Australia hundreds of years ago……germans, italians, egyptians, spaniards, ……………I dont think Egypt did everything well in its history……every country makes mistakes and no one is perfect………..

If you dont like the country, why for heavens sake are you looking the clip? this clip is for people who like the movie and country. I dont like people who talk bad about foreign countries…..thats not good education. you cannot call every australian bad……thats not good.

to be honest… i didnt like that movie…
there was no coherent story… the special effects were not really good…
it was more of a hollywoodish romance patriotic movie than an actual historic film…
but the landscapes were gorgeous! especially the bungle bungles… wow!
