Gérard Depardieu as Obelix is amazing but the 2 actor that played asterix sucks, maybe asterix is unplayable, no matter the 3 live action movies are really great
You can actaually see Depardieu think: ‘I am making an ass of myself with this, but I am making a lot of money’. Nothing wrong with that of course, but do not make more of it than what it is’.
After a huge success at the first two films, which are amongst my favorite, they have sentenced A&O to DEATH – this is the most expensive European movie ever (it cost 200 million USD) and was a FAILURE at all fronts.
This is an even bigger mistake of the French than with the Visitors (because this is a grand project with much more money and success).
